Pricing & Budget

What Does It Cost?

Costs vary widely depending on scope, materials, and site conditions. A small paver patio or pathway may start around $3,000–$6,000. A full front or backyard renovation with hardscaping, planting, and irrigation typically ranges from $15,000 to $60,000+. We provide detailed, itemized quotes so you know exactly where every dollar goes.

Paver projects on the Central Coast generally run $18–$35 per square foot installed, depending on the paver style, base preparation needed, and site access. A 400 sq ft driveway apron or patio typically starts around $7,000–$12,000. Complex patterns, steps, or curved layouts cost more. We'll give you an exact number after seeing your space.

Artificial turf installation in our area typically runs $12–$22 per square foot, which includes materials, base prep, infill, and labor. A 500 sq ft backyard install usually lands between $6,000–$11,000. Factors like existing sod removal, drainage requirements, and turf grade affect the final price.

We currently accept payment by check, credit card, and bank transfer. We don't offer in-house financing, but many clients use home equity lines of credit (HELOC) or personal loans to fund larger projects. Ask us about payment schedules — we typically work with a deposit at signing, progress payments, and a final payment at completion.

The Process

What to Expect

We'll reach out within a few hours to schedule a free on-site visit. At the visit, we'll walk your property, discuss your goals, take measurements, and answer your questions. Within a few days, we'll send you a detailed written quote. Once you approve it, we'll schedule your project start date.

Most residential projects take 1–3 weeks from start to finish. A simple paver patio or turf installation can be completed in 3–5 days. Larger full-yard renovations with multiple services may take 3–4 weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline before work begins and keep you updated throughout.

Most paver, turf, and standard planting projects do not require permits. Projects involving significant grading, retaining walls over 3 feet, or new utility connections may require city or county permits. When permits are needed, we manage the entire process for you — obtaining them is included in our scope of work.

You don't need to be home the entire time, but we ask that someone is available on the first day so we can confirm the layout before we dig. After that, our crew can work independently. We'll check in with photos and updates, and you'll do a final walkthrough with us on completion day.

Our schedule varies by season. Spring and summer tend to book 3–6 weeks out. Fall and winter often have more availability. We recommend reaching out as early as possible — especially if you have a target completion date like a summer event or home sale.

Our Services

Pavers, Turf & More

We install concrete pavers, travertine, flagstone, decomposed granite, and natural stone. We work with most major brands including Belgard and Calstone. During your estimate, we'll bring samples and help you choose a material and pattern that fits your home's style and your budget.

Properly installed pavers can last 25–50+ years. Unlike poured concrete, individual pavers can be replaced if they crack or shift — you don't need to redo the entire surface. We use proper base compaction and edging to ensure long-term stability in Central Coast soil conditions.

Yes. The turf products we install are lead-free, non-toxic, and built for heavy use by kids and pets. We include a proper drainage layer so pet waste drains quickly and doesn't pool. With basic rinsing and occasional brushing, the surface stays clean and odor-free for years.

Artificial turf does get warmer than natural grass on hot sunny days — typically 20–50°F warmer than the air temperature. We use cooling infill products and lighter-colored turf options that reduce heat retention significantly. On very hot days, a quick rinse with water cools it down in minutes.

We install drip irrigation, spray systems, and rotary heads for lawns and planting beds. We also install and program smart controllers (WiFi-enabled timers that adjust automatically based on weather data) to help you save water. All our irrigation work is done to comply with California water-efficiency standards.

Absolutely. We repair broken heads, fix leaks, re-zone systems, upgrade to drip irrigation, and install smart controllers on existing systems. Many clients find that a smart controller upgrade pays for itself in reduced water bills within a single season.

After Your Project

Warranty & Care

Yes. We provide a 1-year labor warranty on all installations. If something shifts, settles unevenly, or fails due to our workmanship within the first year, we'll come back and fix it at no charge. Turf products carry 10–15 year manufacturer warranties, and most pavers come with manufacturer warranties as well.

Our focus is on installation, but we do offer seasonal maintenance visits for projects we've installed — things like re-sanding paver joints, irrigation system checks, and touch-ups. Ask us about maintenance options when we're wrapping up your project.

New pavers are low-maintenance. We recommend sealing them every 2–4 years to protect color and prevent staining. Keep joints filled with sand (we'll re-sand them after the first heavy rain season if needed). For stains, use a pH-neutral cleaner and a stiff brush — avoid power washing too aggressively as it can erode the joint sand.

Artificial turf is very low-maintenance. Rinse it monthly with a garden hose to remove dust and pet residue. Brush the fibers upright with a stiff-bristled broom every few months to prevent matting. Remove leaves and debris with a leaf blower. Avoid sharp tools or heavy furniture on the surface. That's about it — it's designed to look great for years without much effort.
